Dairy Washdown Hose an antimicrobial coating on their cover that resists the growth of bacteria, mold, and fungi that can degrade the cover. The hoses’ tube and cover are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), which provides excellent resistance to ozone and abrasion and offers good resistance to heat and chemicals.
Structure
Inner Tube: smooth white food quality epdm rubber
Reinforcement: textile plies
Cover: wrapped blue and white
Temp Range: -30°c to + 160°c
Burst Pressure: minimum 10 x w.p.
Application: For general clean-up and hot water washdown service in dairies, meat packing houses, creameries and food processing bottling plants
Produced to high standards to ensure it meets food quality standards for use in Hygienic environments. Dairy washdown hose is available with either a blue or white cover both are lined with a white FDA approved EPDM rubber.
